We are committed to students. As our brothers and sisters in Christ, we are bound by love to watch for the souls, to train them in truth and righteousness, to protect and prepare them, to show them the way of salvation in Jesus Christ, to convey a biblically-based and quality education, to demonstrate correctly and attractively the Christian life in our words and actions, to begin equipping them for a life of Christian discipleship, and to imitate the love of God in our relationships with them.

We must provide an environment that is conducive to the spiritual growth and development of the children that parents have placed in our care. We desire our students to maintain high standards of courtesy, kindness, morality, and honesty. We expect our students to provide excellent examples of leadership to their peers and our younger students.
Christian values and Biblical Truths We have dedicated Christian educators who teach a true Biblical perspective on Christian values. We have Bible study every day and learn what the Bible tells us about living the Spiritual life. We subscribe to the Doctrinal Statement of the Baptist faith and message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention. We use, primarily, the A Beka Bible curriculum. At Woodlawn, we believe that God is the source of all truth and that a complete education includes instruction in the scriptures with the goal of leading children to a knowledge of Jesus Christ
